The 2011 Chiptalk.net Matsui WSOP Group Buy is officially OPEN!

Order deadline: 02 September 2011 @ 23:59:59 Central US Time (GMT -5:00 per Google??)

I think 3 weeks is enough time. Plus that gives me Labor Day weekend to check, double check, and triple check orders before posting final numbers here for review.

Chips:

T5: Red Base with Fawn & White
T25: Lawn Green Base with Dark Green & Lemon
T100: Black Base with Light Blue & Cobalt Blue
T500: Light Blue Base with Purple and Day-glo Pink
T1000: Lemon Base with Maroon and Blush
T5000: Vermillion Base w/ Black and Battleship Grey

-40mm chips will have the 4-spot combo pattern.
-43mm chips will have the 6-spot combo pattern.
-All chips will have beveled edges.
-All chips will come shipped with Matsui racks (1 rack per 100 chips...we'll have to work out rack situations when the chips arrive if people don't order full racks).
-Additional racks ARE available for purchase for $2.50/rack. We'll work out the details when final numbers are in.

43mm chips: 98¢/chip (+20¢/chip for glitter decal if applicable to your order) + Shipping + Artwork Fees (see below)

Artwork / Mock-Ups





Artwork designed by the man, the legend, the rockstar, CT's very own J5.

There will be a Glitter version and a Non-Glitter version of the artwork available. All red elements of the artwork will be glitterized.

The artwork fees will be divided between CTers based on number of chips ordered.

Glitter and Non-Glitter fees will only be paid by those CTers that ordered chips with that specific decal. In other words, if you order Non-Glitter chips you will not be responsible for any portion of the glitter artwork fee.

Shipping

All chips will be shipped from Matsui (Korea) to my house for $1750 (assuming 10,000 chips, will be adjusted as necessary). I will then ship chips to participating CTers.

Similar to the artwork fees, the shipping fees from Matsui to me will be divided between participants based on number of chips ordered:

( Shipping Fee / Total Number Chips Ordered ) x Number of Chips Ordered by CTer = That CTer's portion of the shipping fee

Each CTer will also be responsible for ACTUAL shipping costs from me to that CTer (to be paid after chips arrive at my house, see Payment section below)

Shipping from me to you will be via USPS flat rate boxes.

I'll use my best judgement to ship to you in the safest and most economical manner.

*knocks on wood* I have had zero issues sending packages internationally. I also have plenty of references available in the event you are worried about the care I put into packaging chips that I ship out.

Payment

All payments will be sent to me via PayPal. If PayPal is not an option for you please PM me and we can try and work something out.

Payments will be made in 2 installments:

1st Installment: For the chips, artwork fees, and shipping fee from Matsui to me (to be made before order is placed w/ Matsui. I'm not going to order if I don't have ALL the monies)

2nd Installment: For shipping/handling costs from me to you (to be made after chips are delivered to me)

I'm doing this because I don't know exactly how much it is going to cost to ship your chips. The last thing I want is to lose money on this group buy (or violate CT policy by making money without renting a CT Mall forum).

Ordering

Please use the form in post #2 to place your order. It's pretty self explanatory but feel free to let me know if you have any questions.

Please choose carefully as there are a lot of of options to choose from as far as the denoms/sizes/glitter drop-down is concerned.

If you need to make any changes after submitting your order, PLEASE POST THE FOLLOWING in this thread: 1) what you submitted 2) what needs to change. PLEASE DO NOT RESUBMIT YOUR ORDER!!!

I will post the final numbers and give everyone a few days to review before placing the order.

Q. Is there a minimum quantity I need to order in order to participate in this group buy?
A. No! However, there is a separate "Sub-group buy" going on for sample sets. Please see that thread for details.

Q. Are international orders being accepted?
A. Hai, Ja, Si, Yes, Oui, Jep, Hao, Da

Q. Can I order a mix of 40mm and 43mm chips?
A. Of course!

Q. Oh noes! I submitted my order but I need to change it! What do I do?
A. Relax. Take a deep breath. Exhale. Repeat. Repeat again. It's okay! Refer to the "Ordering" section above

Q. How long will it take to get the chips?
A. I was quoted 4-5 weeks for 10,000 chips plus however long it takes me to get things sorted and re-shipped (and maybe customs delays??). Hopefully another week at most (pending 2nd payment from you, of course).

Q. Why is shipping from Matsui to you so expensive?
A. 10,000 chips weight a lot (duh). Plus they are shipping internationally. Rumor has it the chips are going to be closely guarded by assault rifle-toting henchmen during their voyage to ensure their safe travels. I can neither confirm nor deny but this might have something to do with the high shipping cost.

Q. Why do you need my PayPal address?
A. So I have a link between CTer and PayPal address when payments start coming into my account. I need a link between "iheartbieber@hotmail.com" and "JM" and this will do the trick.

Is there any way to input an order that can be audibled?

I'm really on the fence on whether to go with glitter or no glitter. I don't have a huge order, but I'm still trying to figure it all out.

Sorry if this was asked already, but how heavy are the 43mm chips?

Hindsight 20/20, but I feel like having two decal options is derailing this a bit. With the current order numbers, the chips with glitter end up almost exactly the same price as non-glitter ones (only 5 cents more per)... In the end, maybe without glitter will be more expensive?

No idea on the weight. I don't have a scale here to weigh the samples I have.

This is something I have thought about as well. When the order period ends I will post all totals and prices. If the non-glitter folks aren't happy with the numbers they can change their orders if they want to do so.
