Are we going to have a WSOP Playing cards group buy again this year. I would be in for two set ups. It would be fun to get new ones like last year.

Re: WSOP Playing Cards

If i wasn't going into the air force i would run this years GB too. The new cards look cool, except for the Jack Links Beef Jerky logo on all four corners. There's so much advertising everywhere you look it makes me sick.

They should pay us $5 per setup to use them in our games.

OK, I would run this, but i dont know who do buy the cards from and now with the cards having print issues, they may only be collectable and unplayable.

The first step would be to call the Gamblers General Store (a subsidiary of the USPC) and get some quotes on bulk pricing (although i doubt it would change much since last year).

a quote from bluff magazine:

"The cards were replaced within a day or so and WSOP staffers told BLUFF that the US Playing Card Company (USPC) could feasibly reprint the more than 10,000 decks needed for the WSOP in the span of a day or two."

I'm sure you'll still be able to get decks without marks on them. Check out last year's GB if you need some help.

Re: WSOP Playing Cards

If the decks are without marks,I'll be in for 2 or 4 sets(the maximum for a small flate rate box) even if I really don't like the Jack Links Beef Jerky logo, it's not the best sponsor for a vegetarian

Re: WSOP Playing Cards

It would have been better to contact them when the WSOP just started. Last year, the price would go up the closer it got to the WSOP ending. We locked in the price of $13.50 a set during the pre-sale and when GGS started selling them on their site, they were almost $20 a set.

The WSOP might be ending soon, but they don't start selling until the ME final table is aired in November.
