I want a BCC inlayed cash set, but the artwork fee is killing me!!!

I'm willing to run the GB.

Inlay designer is jjbcentral.

I'm proposing (because I like them, and also to keep this from taking a year to make a decision on!) we stick with the following edge spots & colors (tweaking a little if necessary)

Denominations: 5¢ (two options shown), 25¢, $1, $5, $25 (or $20 if more people want it than $25)

Chips: Heavyweight BCC Flame mold
Cost for chips: $.90/chip
Artwork fee: $300 for 5 inlays

If we can get 4-5 people, it would cut the artwork fee to around or under $100/person. That means, for a 500 chip order, you save about $.60/chip by sharing the inlay and artwork fees! (500 chips = $550 total)

I would consider, however, I would like to see a "red" $5 chip in your proposed lot. It would also depend on what denominations you're talking about.

maybe we could do an alternate red $5..maybe similar to the PCA primary or secondary???

I think as long as we could do 100 of a chip, it wouldn't be a problem.

Hmm...maybe we should just do an Inlay GB???

I bet if we could commit to a certain number of chips, we could get Mike to allow an inlay GB.

I'm interested. what's the difference between this ^^ and the OP?
I understand you don't want to mess around with the colors etc, but the only chip i don't like is the white with green spots. Looks to similar to the secondary PCA..which is the dullest of the bunch..imo. But NOT a deal breaker for me.
Anyways, I had just email J5 last week for some input as I've been thinking I'd like to turn my "Hideaway" china clay into the real mccoy with BCC.

Here's what I asked him to do:
Color match inlay gradient to spots.
Change the outer text from "18 Apple Street • Tiffin • OH" to maybe something a little more generic that might appeal to a wider audience such as:
"Poker Parlor • 5th Street • Est. 2011". And remove the Est. 1977 from below Hideaway.

Anyways, just a thought. What inlay design where you thinking of?

Oh, what's the difference between inlay design fee and artwork fee?

I agree on the whites. Personally, I would like to see an oversized inlay, like they did with the High Rollers.

Before people start going crazy with ideas, remember that the $300 artwork fee for 5 denoms is only applicable for art with a white background and the denom numeral being the only changeable element between the 5 different inlays.

Otherwise it's $150 per denom...

This is true...I was actually thinking about a simple/classy inlay for these.

Here is what I wanted to do for my customs, and would love to keep this same layout and change the name if people would be up for it. I like the High Rollers look, but am not a big fan of the oversized inlays (no offense Sea Vulture!). I'd prefer to stick with the 1" inlay if possible.

As I said, we could do this inlay, but change up the name. Some other naming ideas:

"The Grand Cardroom" (with permission of course!)
"The Den"
"The Four Suits"
"Broadway"
"Spade Club"
"The Back Room"
"Club 21"

Re: Any interest in a BCC Cash Set GB???

Why flame mold? I am sure for 5-10 cents you could use MGK.... Unless you are going to cover it up with an inlay, flame mold is kinda lame IMO.

Is BCC taking orders again? I was under the impression they closed shop to personal orders.
