Group buy for Nexttimes PNY set
I will get this going if there are enough people who want some of this set. All I really need are 200 of the purple and pink NYC's. Who's with me?
BREAKDOWN:
Total count:
120 .25's
100 .50's
120 $5's
280 NYC (Flopznuts wants 200 of them)
260 1's
20 25's
Also throwing in my PNY Dealer Button. These are hard to find!

How is this considered a group buy when it's not much more than a full set for sale outside the vbclassified section? Not to rain on a parade or sale here.

Well, I wanted 200 of the NYC's, but Next didn't want to split them up, so I thought if I could round up enough people who wanted bits & pieces of the rest of the set I would buy them and pass them on to the others. I have no need for anything other than the NYC's as I have about everything else in the set.

I don't really need to sell these and if there is no interest in the set, they will go into the storage closet. I'll put them way in the back and I might bump into them in a year or two.

That's the definition of a group buy, a group is buying the set. As long as everyone is paying the same proportional price for what they are getting and the organizer isn't making money on it, then its a group buy. Where's the issue with that?

OK, I give in. I wanted to do a group buy for my new 3u2 and half pie and 44mm ASM's with this new recent order and asked if I could do this exact thing posting like this one and was told no by one of you guys in the mod/admin group, can't remember who wrote back at the moment.... And that I had to list it in vbclassified, blah blah etc.

I'm not sure who it was either, it wasn't me I know, but this isn't even close to the same thing. The organizer here is trying to get enough participation for the whole set so it gets parted out in order to buy it from another party. The two situations really aren't analogous.
