I recently purchased some custom seat cards from a local printer and posted results on another thread. Here's the link to the thread and some pictures:

I've received favorable responses from some of you on CT and wanted to see if there's interest in having a group buy for seat cards. Pricing isn't established as I'm polling some local printers here, but expect them to be under $2 each. The more cards ordered through the GB, the lower the cost. To give you a comparison, I ordered 40 cards and they were $2.30 each.

Here are some parameters we need to work through for this to happen:

1. The design will have to be generic enough to satisfy everyone's needs
2. The design will be one color, same color, on both sides (I believe our only choice is black, but I'm asking)
3. The design can be different for each side but all cards must be identical
4. The card color is white (I'm asking if we can have choices)
5. Shipping fees will be added to each shipment (I'm assuming for now that it'll be under $5 to anyone in the US)

For those looking to get seat cards for their game, please respond in this thread with the number you'd like to buy. I'll consolidate the numbers and update the thread with pricing and answers to the card and printing colors.

Looks like we have 200 so far pending a final price. There's a decent price break from one of the printers when we hit 300.

I might be in for some of these (40) as well.

However, have you looked around and asked for quotes? There are many suppliers on the web.

Here is one and for 500, you are looking at about 70 cents ea for 2 sided colour printing on 22 mil cards.

I've kept it local only as I could view their work. However, that's a great price. That should definitely be an option. I'll contact them to see if I can get a sample. The B&W both sides was a great price. Much cheaper than what I paid for my custom ones.

At those prices, I might just buy 500, take care of the GB, and then sell these off to CT members as needed.

FYI I didn't look around. I just grabbed the first one that I found prices on. I looked at a couple others but you have to put in your details and RFQ. A little bit of research, a couple of quotes and you should be able to do even better than that.
