Chips: 1,546 | | | Help Us Decide Chip Colors - CT Lone Star Roundup We're looking for input for the Lone Star Roundup chips as to Color/Spot combinations. We'd like to stay away from the dayglo colors as much as possible, as we feel this should be a more muted set. The spots we have open to us are pretty much the normal ASM spots for ChipTalk.net'ers:
214, 314, 414, 614, 212, 312, 412, half pie, 4A14, 6A14, 4A12, 3D14, 4D14. I tried to get other spots but were not able to.
The chips will have different inlays front and back, the front side has a common image of the state with the flag in it subdued behind the denom (except the NCV which the flag isn't subdued and there is no denom ). The reverse side has a different rodeo image on each chip.
Here are what we posted in the Group Buy Thread:
Here's another alternative:
Here is a larger shot of the inlays:
Thanks for your help. | | Sponsored Links | |

I like the .25, $25, $1, $100, $500 color combos in the 2nd group much better. In the 1st group, I like the $5 better. Like the NCV as is. Still would like to see different color edgespots on the orange $1000. Just my input.....

I'd like something different on the 500, but not sure what. |

Chips: 14,010 | | | Re: Help Us Decide Chip Colors - CT Lone Star Roundup I STRONGLY suggest you don't use blue as a spot on your green chip. It does not have anywhere near the contrast you see in the mockups. It will come out looking virtually solid except in bright light. I suspect purple would be pretty bad as well. DG Yellow looks great on the green chip though, not loud.

Chips: 1,090 | | | Re: Help Us Decide Chip Colors - CT Lone Star Roundup Thanks, I liked it too and am not sure why I hadn't thought of the combo and edge spots config previously for a non-denom. Kind of cool and different. It also gets us back to the purple/grey 1/2 pie that both Kari and I were originally drawn too. What do you all think of chocolate intead of orange on the 1k though? Back to orange? Quote:

Chips: 6,781 | | | Re: Help Us Decide Chip Colors - CT Lone Star Roundup I reallly like the purple and grey non-denom, and I think I would like the chocolate 1K better than the orange.

Chips: 1,090 | | | Re: Help Us Decide Chip Colors - CT Lone Star Roundup Actually, they'd all be in order the way I originally intended with the quarter on the far left and ending with the non-denom on the bottom right. Anything's possible though. So far we've used conventional colors for the 1/5/25/100/500 chips and the quarter/1k/non-denom are kind of winging it. Quote:
