Since PCOL doesnt stamp, we will order Solids, 614 or 6a14 as blanks, any colors you want.
Sending them to jsmithjr or suckoutking for stamping is an option.
He will only use this 'American Eye' stamp on A-mold chips.

I'm making this hotstamp to go on the American mold.
Standard size with some 43mms would be nice.
Dont mind sharing. Anyone want in?

These are just my mockups, I'll let anyone use this stamp on the chips (A-mold only though)

well, it's just how the starsaligned.

I was toying with both ideas when Jim announced the Jan discount and Feb 43mm on A mold.
So I came out of the closet on both.

This one was not originally planned forthe A mold.
I had a bunch of ideas using the EYE. Eye in sun, eye in pyramid, etc.
Somehow I came to be looking at an eye of Ra im my web graphic search and the idea slammed me to make it maktch with the A mold by inserting that line to make the "A"


I did this and then asked J5 to touch it up for me.


I dont expect to hit any volume discount with either as they will have limited appeal.
Plus everyone is tapped this time of year, including me.
But I figured I'd offer it.

Hmmm. I had contacted ASM about hotstamped A-molds, and they told me that only the 312, 314, and 414 spots were available, with single colors.

Do you know something I don't? I gave them the list of spots that I thought were available to Chiptalkers to verify, and it was: 212, 214, 312, 314, 3d14, 414, 412, 4d14, 4a14, 4a12, 614, 6a14, and half pie. But was told only those 3 were available. What do you project these will cost?

Maybe I needed to mention that I wanted a custom hotstamp? Confused...

They do not do custom die hot stamps.
I've been told they will do the 614 6a14 blanks for the hourglass and I am having a 3rd party hot stamp those.

I do not have confirmation yet, but I expect approval on these 'A' 614's too.

I just asked Cathy if we should push off even the regular size A's for this project until Feb, or if we can order those now and add 43mm later.

We may have to push these into Feb, as we still do not know what spots will be on the 43mm version as well as pricing and we may want to change the spots if they dont work well with these 614's.

I origianlly toyed with 314 (pyramid) for these, but I liked the 614 because you could use 2 colors and the double triangle pattern isnt too far off the mark.
