Hello all,

Some of you were nice enough to give your two cents on my idea of creating a hot stamped PNY .25 chip.

The final result of the Hot stamp was:

You must order and send your chips off to jsmithjr for the stamping. Most of you will probably opt for the t-molds. I was fortunate enough to get some Paulsons with very light starburts on them. I'm going to attempt to remove the remaining starburts and stamp those. We'll see...might end up with t-molds too

anyway...if you are interested I will take the first 5 people.

Hot stamping is $.15 per chip PLUS a $8 fee for the die being created.

This should be a very affordable option to add some fractionals to those PNY cash sets.

I want to be in this, but my ASM hg mold will be too small for the stamp you're making here? Am I right?

I think they are actually alittle bigger than the T-molds. The inlay/stamp area that is.
Check the other thread, jsmithjr mentioned it there.

Right I'm just double checking... Then in that case I will have to wait for the next time someone do it for hg

You can use this die for the HG, but it won't fill-up the entire inlay. I have both types of chips here, and looking at it, you'll probably have about 2-3 mm of space between the design and the outer edge of the inlay.

Not a big deal, but something to consider if you're on the fence with ASM HG chips.

There's no max/min stamping in the group buy. Just looking to share the die expense.

This will be interesting with all the different styles of chips available.

Can we buy in for the dye, I guess just $8. Then see how your stamping goes on the starbursts and wait until after that to send any chips away. Acutally I would like to only use Paulson chips if available if not then I guess I would just forfiet my $8?
