I know there are several people who are putting together cash game sets and would like to include a $20.00 plaque. This thread is to see if there is enough interest to put together a generic $20.00 plaque to use in a cash game set.

Feel free to post any ideas/designs you may have. If we can get enough of these spoken for we can piggy back onto the next matsui group buy.

I would assume the plaque would be "some kind of green" but any ideas are welcome.

I am very interested, however I was thinking more on the lines of a Jeton or smaller plaque, not necessarily one of their bigger plaques...and also not sure what you mean by "generic" but I would like it to match the set, or were you thinking something along the lines of generic meaning it would just be.....generic?

But again, would be interested in around 10-20 more then likely, if they work out.

A Large Green sparkly Jeton would be even better! Would be easier to transport for me. Also, it would allow me to buy more assuming they are usually cheaper than the plaques.

Generic as in they don't have to be used in a specific set. The cash set I'm putting together is a casino set so i was thinking something not connected to a specific set already available (IE: Pharaohs , samurais ).

A made up casino would work for me because I'm making a "casino" cash set but I'm also open to something with just a design and/or number.


BTW i would be in for "25" depending on price. ( i will check with josh on estimated cost)

While plaques have that lovely James Bond /Euro mystique about them, they seem to lack the the "user friendly" nature of the Jeton.

This might be a good idea. I could be interested. There is a good deal of variation in what is possible. Are people jeton or smaller plaque? Are people thinking something so generic it could go with any existing set or some theme? Thought I'd borrow these from Josh's thread and another thread on the Euro High-Denomination plaques for people to start discussing:

I was thinking more along the lines of jetons personally. But really the minimums on the plaques and jetons are so low that we could probably order both if there's enough interest.
