This thread is for gauging the interest level in a Hotel Splendide plaque re-buy. Joshuadalton has graciously offered to piggyback this group buy with the Matsui December buy, so we are looking at about a couple months before the final order will be placed. Assuming there is enough interest expressed in this interest thread, a more formal ordering thread will follow. The minimum quantities for the order are 100 or each denomination, so hopefully we can get enough responses in this thread to exceed that. In the mean time, here’s some more info on the plaques.

These amazing plaques were designed back in May by sn0wnstorm, as an attempt to capture the look of the plaques featured in the James Bond movie “Casino Royale”. I think it’s safe to say that he, with input from the community, succeed in his endeavors. Another unique feature these plaques possess is their large size. Designed to be true to the movie, these plaques measure in at the following proportions:

$500,000 Red Plaque is 129 mm x 90 mm
$1,000,000 Blue Plaque is 140 mm x 97mm

Truly, these plaques represent a size that rarely seen on the market, and thus make a statement equal in proportion to their denominations. As far as the price per plaque, I’m not sure exactly how much they will be at this point. I think the price during the original buy was $11-$12 per plaque, and it’s usually the custom that any new buyers pay the original group buy fee. As soon as I find out what the cost will be, I will update this post. Now, a picture’s worth a thousand words, so It’s time for some pictures.

Oh yeah

I'm down for, at the minimum, 25 of each. I could possible go up to 40 depending on the final price, but I'm in for 25 reds and 25 blues for sure!

At this point I would be in for 5 more of each denomination, but possibly up to 15 of the $1 million denomination. The latter option would give me one complete case of 40 each, which would be uber-cool.
