Oldcycles tribute chip **Gauging interest**

I originally mock these up for a few original faux yellows I have and was gonna somehow find a way to give them to a few lucky CTers.I'm now thinking of doing a little ceramic GB.I talked to Joe briefly and even though the guy is just up to his neck in orders and still hungover from the move,he is willing to work something out on this.We didn't talk prices or anything else but we all pretty much have an idea of what ceramics cost.

So as of right now,I'm just gauging interest to get a rough count of how many chips will be ordered.

I will consider some artwork changes and comments but I really don't want to spend weeks trying to make everyone happy.the only other thing I was thinking of was taking certain snippets of Joe's "elite game" poem and printing it on the edge.

So for right now...if your interested, just post here and i'll try and keep a good rolling count.

BTW...heres Joe's poem in case you missed it.

Scott now has a seat.. in the most elite game there is.. with the highest buyin imaginable...

for you can only buy in ONE TIME in this game...the buy in doesnt require any cash..and once you have a seat- you never leave this table... there are NO losers in this game... only winners...

We can only hope that when it's our time- we are afforded the privelege of buying in to this game... of being chosen to sit at this table..
where your cards were dealt to you long before you sit here.. and how you play your cards your entire life--- will determine if you make this table

May we all one day sit at this table

Play your cards well in life.

I think everyone who wants to should donate whatever and see how much we come up with and get a set of these made and get it to his family somehow. I think they would really appreciate that.

I don't know if they have even been able to locate oldcycles' relatives.

we could certainly run these- and donate the proceeds to SOME family member OR- have whereever he is laid to rest use the funds to keep the grave with flowers etc--
If his mom is in a nursing home- perhaps a donation of something to her-
Although he hasnt seen his dad in MANY years- perhaps sending dad some chips just to let him iknow his son did make an impact on many people may help him remember Scott in a more positive way-
I dunno- just tossing ideas out

I am interested. I think the chips should be purchased and funds go to his family, or at least some flowers or something.

Re: Oldcycles tribute chip **Gauging interest**

I mentioned something like this earlier. I think it's a great idea, but I think we should wait until we find out if his relatives have been located. I know he was really proud of our young men and women in the service. Maybe a donation to his local VFW or a military hospital or something.

Sure, but the chips do take some time as well.
