High Stakes Group Buy Idea
Here are the latest color schemes!!!!!
25, 100, 500, 1k

5k, 25k, 100k, 500k

100k
As of right now we are in a stall. We are in the process of reworking the color schemes of the entire chip set. Most of the higher value chips will stay the same. Dave at BCC has said that we must change the inlay art for the chips to be acceptable, as well as the colors for the edgestripes. Dave is on board with this project but will not do any sort of knock offs of anything in play as of right now. We have some updated color schemes at the bottom of page 23, these have been sent to dave for possible approval. The inlay, designed by maegnus, is still being reworked. When/If the colors and inlay get approved by Dave Endy at BCC we will be posting ordering information and a separate order thread. Some of these chips will have the colored inlays and some of them wont. The ordering thread will be open 2-3 weeks, 2 weeks would probably be the choice. Start thinking of your breakdown if you havent already, as well as quantities. I really hope this project goes thru!!!! Contact me if you have any questions regarding this group buy or feel free to post your question in the thread.

Re: High Stakes Group Buy Idea
Whoa Nellie, that new 100K is awesome!!!! Go Cowboys. It's got me itching for Training Camp.
Great job Maegnus!!!
I feel like a complete jerk offering suggestions at this point, but is there any consideration to sticking with the white w/chocolate/blood red/chocolate for the 500K and making the purple chip the 1 Mil?? I love the color scheme on the purple chip.
My only thought is that if you're actually using these for tournament play like me, the purple and chocolate base colors are so close, especially after 10-15 rum and cokes (or insert drink of choice here). In the endgame when basically only the 500K and 1Mil are in play, a white and purple chip give better contrast.
So, initial chip stacks would be arc yellow, black, and gray = good contrast
middle stages chip stacks would be black, gray, and white = good contrast
endgame chipstacks would be gray, white, and purple = good contrast
If that's stupid let me know, but after seeing how the current 5K and 25K WSOP chips are virtually indistinguishable (not the HORSE chips, the other ones), I think a little more about base colors.
That being said, I think the uniform edgespots are definitely the way to go.
Again, great job on these. They look unbelievable.
I just wish I could will myself to like the 1Mil chip
Why do I hate chocolate colored chips so much

These chips do look great.
Definitely keep the edge spots uniform.
I'm with PokerLoser though in that consecutive denominations should be more distinguishable than the 500K and 1M chips above, and I like his color ideas too. I'm a noob slowly building a chip bankroll, and that lack of contrast would keep me away from participating in this GB, especially after the problems with the peach/tangerine/salmon consecutive colors at this year's WSOP.
Of all the GBs I've seen since I've been here, this and the $.50 Epiphanys have interested me the most. Good work!

Yes there is, Meagnus just forgot to mock it up. It was supposed to be the white with a blood red inlay or white inlay as the 500k, I also sent him Laker Purple Idea. One thing you guys have to remember is that these mockups are alot darker than the actual chips, so there will be a much bigger discrepancy with the other denoms around it.

Re: High Stakes Group Buy Idea
I didn't mock up the white 500k (because I'm lazy and) because it just felt off to me. The purple one (which isn't nearly as dark as it looks there) seems to work better (to me at least) since there is a colour to match for the inlay. There's just something weird about having coloured inlays on all of them and then having a white chip with a white inlay, like the inlays on the low denoms. the blood red inlay on the white chip also just looks strange and out of place with the set. If it were my call I would also make the 25k chip blood red (but I know you all love that 2nd black chip), because again I like coloured inlays to be colourful, and why not avoid repeating a base colour. This is from a designer with a pretty keen knack for colour theory, but if you guys really push for the white chip then I shall mock it up. I just feel that laker purple works much better, and hey, that choco chip is soooo nice, dont bash it.

Re: High Stakes Group Buy Idea
So WhataboutJ has just talked to Dave Endy from BCC. The way the chips are now will not be allowed at all and they will not make them.
Dave said the chip color combos are exact matches of the High stakes chips the Rio is currently using and the inlay is basically a knock off that is too close as well. To get the chips made the edge spot colors would need to be changed so they are different than the Rio's. The base colors are ok as long as the edge spot colors are changed. The inlay would need to be re-worked as well (I assume a big pice of it is the rainbow letters but all he said was significant changes)
Where does that leave us....I personally dont know if the colors can be reworked to make everybody happy. Also does anyone want a replica set that doesnt look like the real thing. I personally think that there are significant changes and differences. The fact the the WSOP ME chips have all white inlays, different colors for all except the 100, 500, 1k chip. All of the other chips are significantly different in color combos, Especially the high denoms....Rio also doesnt even have a 500k chip, to my knowledge. I am obviously steemed and at a loss for words. Let me know your thoughts and if you guys are still interested in reworking everything.
