ASM Rounders "Spoof" - Donkey KGB Order Thread *CLOSED*
Donkey KGB's "Rounders Spoof" chips
Just in time for the 10th anniversary of "Rounders"!
The price per chip depends on spot pattern:
$1.00 for "414" (4-spotted, low-denomination) chips: 1¢, 5¢, 25¢, and 100¢
$1.25 for "614" (6-spotted, high- or non-denominated) chips: 500¢, 2000¢, 10,000¢, and "KGB"
Actual shipping will be added to each order.
E.g., an 8-chip sample set (1 of each) will be $9 + shipping.
Oh, and they'll probably come pre-oiled (a ChipTalk-exclusive bonus) unless there's significant objection.
Here are the current mockups, as rendered by ChipForge:
Artwork has been submitted to Sandy for proofs. Here is the official ASM artwork proof:

Prices updated. Jim quoted me $1/chip for 414-spotted, and $1.25/chip for 614-spotted. There could be bulk discounts if we have a "very large" order...

I asked Cathy if we could get prototypes made and scanned to see what they look like. Unfortunately, this is just too costly and time-consuming, so they don't (generally) do it. I can't afford to buy a pile of chips and then try to sell them to whoever might want them, so I'm afraid they'll have to be purchased "site unseen". This is normal for group-buys - same as the BCC/Sidepot Proteges (greatly delayed but delivered recently) and Matsui Zens (also recently), BCC/HPC Samurais (> 1 year ago), Paulson Pharoahs (a million years ago), etc. Unless a company decides to carry these chips (i.e. order a bunch and stock them for retail sale after the original group-buy is over), there won't be the opportunity to see them before they arrive at your door... and even in that case, you'll have to pay retail price after the original group-buy.
(The only way to get group-buy pricing is to get in on the ground floor, as you're effectively helping make the bulk-purchase - with bulk-discount - happen)
But ask anybody here: ASMs quality control is 2nd-to-none! Inlays will be aligned to the edge spots (not done on any other compression-molded clay chip); their colours are consistent from batch-to-batch, year-to-year. They made the movie props for Rounders (among other movies), and these will be made using the same process, same colour and texture of materials (including the metal "flecks"), same attention to detail... Just the mold and inlay graphic are different (along with "fantasy" high-denomination chip colours), and even the inlay was designed to have the same "look and feel" as the Teddy KGB chips.
They'll look (not surprisingly) a lot like these:

Re: ASM Rounders "Spoof" - Commitment Thread
Got back from weekend okay ... find no new posts ... BUMP!
Mid-July-ish deadline. Then I'll put the order in and start taking payments, collecting addresses, etc.

I can attest to the quality. Each of my tricolor 5 Avalon's are aligned the same way - that means that some "body" is actually taking the time to align each of these by hand. WOW.

Re: ASM Rounders "Spoof" - Commitment Thread
Interest/commitment for these seems to be waning... If you haven't already done so, indicate how many you want (sample sets or racks; whatever). Depending how things go, I'll probably put in the order and start accepting payments on the weekend of July 21.

I'll accept payments by Paypal. I will request payments by PM when (a) I've placed the whole order, and (b) I've calculated actual shipping costs (which requires knowledge of the size of the total order, since it'll be a weighted fraction of the total shipping, plus shipping of your order to your address). Please don't send any payments yet, but feel free to send me address info (country and postal/zip code is sufficient at this point) to speed the total price calculation (especially if you want to know the total incl. shipping before committing). If you would prefer to pay some other way, PM me.
I've updated the OP with the current chips requested (just the totals; I have the breakdown in a spreadsheet). If you want to change your order or see an error, please just make a new post in this thread with the update.

Re: ASM Rounders "Spoof" - Donkey KGB Order Thread
I would also take 1 Sample Set (8 chips) if payment via bank transfer and shipping to Germany are possible.
