Chips: 1,546 | | | 2" Kill button GB {{GB IS CLOSED}} We have been in discussion about a possible GB for 2" kill/no kill buttons (see here). These would be done on the PI high gloss dealer buttons.
If we can get an order of 10+ they will be $5.50 each.Of course we would also have to factor in the shipping from PI,shipping of individual orders and PP fees...yada yada yada.i would much rather have someone else run this GB but if I have to I will.I just think it would be a waste of money to have the order shipped from Florida to So Cal.

I think the idea you were developing was a good one....run with it. |

It is a cash game thing and I am sure I will leave out some minor details, but basically in a kill game if a player wins 2 pots in a row, the "kill" is on. The winner of the two previous is required to put in a forced bet of double the big blind and the game limits are doubles as well. So if you were playing a 1/2 (.50/1 blinds) limit kill game and the kill was on, the SB and BB post as required, and the person that won 2 in a row puts up a $2 forced bet and then cards are dealt. betting limits are 2/4 until end of hand. If same player wins again, kill is still on.
There are some variables such as a pot not being large enough that would cancell out the kill being on. |

Kill games provide an opportunity for the occasional larger size stake game without the need to play at the higher stake throughout a session. In a kill game, anytime a player scoops an entire pot (usually it must be larger than a given minimum size), he is given a "kill" button. If that player then scoops a second consecutive pot, the next hand dealt will be a "kill" hand.
In a full kill game, the stakes double during a kill hand (for example, a 1-2 game becomes a 2-4 game). In a game employing a half-kill (a fairly common variation), the stakes increase by 50% for the kill hand (so a 1-2 game would become a 1.50-3.00 game).
The player who has scooped the two consecutive pots is forced to place an amount equal to the size of the game's big blind on the kill button (or into the pot, in an Internet card room, as there is no physical kill button to stack chips upon). The "hot" player is thus put at a slight disadvantage during the increased-stake hand, because he has to put this money at risk before he sees his cards. Just as the big blind gets an option to raise even though no one else has raised, so too does the player with the kill button blind money get a chance to raise the pot.
If the player with the kill button scoops the pot again, the next hand is again a kill pot and that player must again post a blind bet. The stakes do not re-double. As soon as someone other than the "scooper" wins a hand, the game returns to the normal stake |

Chips: 1,546 | | | Re: 2" Kill button GB Well since there really doesn't seem to be a real need for a half Kill button and Joe was gonna let us print both just as long as we ordered 10 or more combined.maybe he'll let us do the original concept and a formal design.
I'll try to email him in a bit,I'll keep you posted
For anyone thats interested in the chalkline design, are we OK with the current version?
Just in case some of you haven't seen the hi gloss buttons, here are a few pics of my dealer buttons
