Interest in a "Casino Royale Inspired" Plaques Group Buy ?

Hi

I was wondering finding plaques to add to my High Denoms "Casino Royale" Chip Set ...

Snowstorm worked on the project doing the mock up.

There would be 2 denom Plaques of course : one 500 000 $ and one 1 000 000 $

I think Matsui's could be a real deal for that style of Plaques and design ( other option is of course Ceramic custom plaques less expensive )

the price will then be 9$ (6,5 each + 250 $ fees) / per plaque with a minimum of 100 plaques / per denom.

I think it's a really amazing way to hold a complete set ... for "Casino Royale Fans" and people who have a standard high denom chip set

and for Xtrem rich players ... who wan't to run a Chip and plaques faced Cash Game lol !

Please let me know how much plaques of each denom you would be interested in and if you would prefer a ceramic plaque.

I know that dams is new here, so I just wanted to let everyone know that this GB will piggy back on the next Matsui buy, and I will handle the shipping.

I'm new to chiptalk, but not to chip collecting. I currently have 1200 of the original Paulson Casino de Isthmus that I use for my home game, but am transitioning to the CR chips so I don't panic when someone splashes the pot . I Would have definite interest in participating in a group buy of these plaques. I would be interested in at least 10 of both denominations.

A couple of questions:

Since Matsui has different plaque sizes, would you do the smaller size for the $500,000, and larger for the $1 million?

Not really a question, but a personal preference: I would switch the 'Casino' and 'Montenegro' on the plaques.

I agree that Casino and Montenegro might be switched but aren't the plaques in the movie the same size?haven't seen it for a while and apologise if mistaken.

I am almost postive that the $1 million plaque is larger, but I will go check to make sure and report back

These would be even prettier in my opinion if the base color was a "mother of pearl" type look.

I'm definitely in on these. At least 20 of the 500K and 10 of the 1mil, maybe a few more.

A couple thoughts:
1)After looking at the movie again, it looks like the 1mil plaque is indeed a bit larger than the 500K. That's just an FYI, I don't really have a preference.
2)The blue base on the 1 mil would need to be a little darker if you want the colors to match the movie as much as possible. Again, I think they're great as is, so it makes no difference to me
3)Since we obviously can't use "Casino Royale," how about "Hotel Splendide Casino" on the top and "Montenegro" on the bottom? Hotel Splendide is the name of the hotel where Bond stays that is attached to the Casino Royale. That would give it more of an authentic feel than just having the word "casino" on top and nothing else, IMHO.

Great work either way. Can't wait to see what the finished product looks like.
