Chips: 2,290 | | | BCC Custom hotstamp solids GB interest? After watching the re-runs of the 2005 US Poker Championship I have been obsessing over wanting some custom hotstamp solids! I was wondering if there was any interest in a group buy for some custom BCC Solid Hotstamps like these: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/523733-post7.html
It would only take a few of us to spread the custom die/artwork fees around so they would not be so cost prohibitive at $100.00 per design/denomination. Personally, I want denominated chips with a design similar to the ones in the link above, or similar to what most casinos use for their tourney sets (or like the USPC). In other words, something text based, circular around the denomination in the center. I definitely want them denominated with no $ sign so they can double as a cash set or tourney set. I need 1500-2000 chips to make a large set. For me, I would want the following denominations: 10, 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, 10,000. Also I like the standard colors for the most part as well, but these things would all have to be worked out with all participants. We would only need someone to design the stamp, everyone participating approve the stamp and colors, and figure costs based on what everyone ordered. Who knows, if enough people join in we might even get a volume discount! And at .50 per chip (not including the art) that is a great deal IMO! Let's DO IT!!!

Chips: 144 | | | Re: BCC Custom hotstamp solids GB interest? What would you think of doing it on the T-mold solid from HPC? BCC will hotstamp them for an extra 15 cents/chip and with a big enough order from CT, who knows, maybe we will get a little discount?
When HPC gets its new T-mold colors in, they will have all the colors we need for the USPC set;
Horizon Blue - 10
Dark Green - 25
Charcoal - 100
Lavender or Purple - 500
Arc Yellow - 1000 (they won't have enough blaze orange left)
Grey - 5000
Hot Pink - 10,000???
If we are going to get a huge order through HPC, maybe we could check and see if he would do a run of W. Blaze Orange for the GB...
Just throwing it out there! |

Chips: 2,290 | | | Re: BCC Custom hotstamp solids GB interest? According to their website HPC's "T" mold are .55 to .62 per chip - and that is without stamping. I saw someone paid BCC (I believe) .15 per chip to stamp so now we are already at .70 to .77 per chip NOT including artwork. The reason I suggested BCC directly was that they will do the chips including the stamping for only .50 (not including art). The whole idea for me was to get a very large set for a minimum cost. For me the flame is fine. BTW, I am pumped to finally see some interest get going - I was getting worried! Quote:

id like to hear what chip its decided to be on, what colors are decided on and and the price per chip.
do you have a estimated time that you would like to make a decision by and start orders. |
