Chips: 3,270 | | | Any Interest in a GB for Fournier 2818 cards In the afterglow of WedgeRock's recent and very successful KEM GB I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a GB for Fournier 2818. These are available at Trident and are either new or were out of stock but are available now. The reviews I have seen claim they are very nice Casino grade Poker size JI on par with Dal Negro and Modiano as far as handling .
Here is some description and a link to them... "Fournier of Spain supplies playing cards to leading European casinos and now their exquisite 100% plastic playing cards are available to home players. Model No. 2800 is a poker-size, JUMBO index deck with a mesmerizing back design in blue or red - great for Texas Hold’em. This deck is packaged in a cardboard tuckbox with the new holographic security seal. Buy this deck now and bring the European casino experience to your home game." LINKY, LINKY
They are sold by the single deck in a tuckbox at $12.99ea but drop in price as multiple decks are ordered. 30+ gets a price of $8.99. Personally I don't need 30 decks .
Anyone interested in these?
If I get enough interest I'll work up some prices (Paypal, Shipping etc)

Chips: 3,968 | | | Re: Any Interest in a GB for Fournier 2818 cards I'd be in for 2 decks at least...one red, one blue. But that's an eight dollar savings, but its gonna cost $4 to re-ship... Plus there's shipping to you... Hmmm... This may only save a dollar or two.
My advice (based on previous experience), you can probably get better prices than posted (or the best price at lower counts) if you contact them and ask. I note that the pricing is listed as "Retail Discounts". If you could get 50 decks (only 25 set-ups), you might be able to get them even cheaper...

Here's a mini review of these cards that I posted earlier today. "I’ve been using the new poker width Fournier 2800 series cards (jumbo index) for the past few days and these are really nice cards. I had no idea Fournier’s were this nice and I’ve missed out by not trying Fournier brand cards before now. The cards have a nice textured feel to them but it’s a different feel than Dal Negro/Modiano/NTP cards. I can’t describe the difference in feel but I like the Fournier texture just as much as I do the others. I also like the simple/classic back design and I’m pleased to report that the red on the face of the cards are a darker brick red (probably Forunier’s version of “security ink”) as I think the cards look classier with a darker red. The faces of the cards remind me a lot of Dal Negro’s and these cards play/handle very similar to Dal Negro as well but I would say that the Fournier’s shuffle with more ease (slightly) than the Dal Negro’s. The cards also handled my stress test well (bending, scratching face paint, etc…). The Fournier’s do not appear to recover from bends as quickly as Dal Negro’s, BUT they do eventually return to flat. At this point, these cards belong in the same conversation with Dal Negro’s for great plastic cards." |
