That being said, if these are on the heavier weight chip, I am in for 200.

Chips: 100 | | | Re: New Mock-Up: Anyone want to split a PNY fractional order with me? I, too, think that is a distinct possibility. However, I used the Vineyard Casino Commemoratives made by BC as a model in creating my mock-up. As I saw it, this is a clear precedent as a modified chip inlay is being used on a flame mold - whereas the original (and now closed) casino used the top hat & cane mold. The only difference in those two Vineyard designs is the inclusion of the text "Commemorative Issue 2005 Limited Edition." Indeed, the edgespots are effectively the same in my opinion. In contrast, I reasoned that my "2007" is sufficiently different from the "New York, New York" text and my artwork is completely different. Further, the edgespot designs (if they are even used) are entirely different.
I'm not trying to take issue with you, JM - as I had the same thought. However, I wanted to share with everyone my thinking behind my design. I imagine I won't be the last person to mock up a "tribute" chip - so I hope the Endys have a chance to read this post and help me/us understand where we should make changes to have artwork approved.
Regardless, I will be submitting this to BCC and look forward to their feedback. Quote: |

The Endy's are friends with the owners of the casino, and they will not put the name of this casino on their chips. Also, the mold makes no difference really. This was stated by Dave when someone was hoping to use a casino's colors for their customs and thought that them not being on the casino mold would make it ok.

Chips: 100 | | | Re: New Mock-Up: Anyone want to split a PNY fractional order with me? Thanks for the clarification, joshuadalton. I genuinely was curious why there was so much design change necessary when the Vineyard Commemorative artwork was approved. Your answer seems reasonable.
Do you happen to know if any other variations on the casino name were acceptable? My back-up ideas included:
"President New Yorker"
"President Casino" on the top and "New York" on the bottom.
"New Yorker Casino"
I emailed BCC and expect to make further revisions (a better font choice, color matching, alternate background art, etc.). |

No "President" or "New Yorker"
Here are some ideas for the Non Denom

Chips: 100 | | | Re: New Mock-Up: Anyone want to split a PNY fractional order with me? Those look incredible! Which one are you thinking is our top contender?
Also, what are your thoughts on the Horizon Blue color? Would you prefer a purple color, instead? On one hand, I much prefer BCC's Laker Purple color to the Horizon Blue (which I believe is on the Samurai Palace $1) - but the PNYs already use a purple ($500).
Two other questions, joshuadalton. Are you favoring edgespots or a solid? Did you want non-denominated or $0.25?
Between the two of us we have enough to order (200 each).
Solid (heavy): 400 @ $0.65 + $100 artwork = $360 ($180/each)
Edgespot (heavy): 400 @ $0.80 + $100 artwork = $420 ($210 each) Quote: |

I would like to go with this.....
I would need to get a designer to make a clean, print ready version though.
Also, as far as using purple on this chip, I don't see a problem since the two will never be on the table at the same time. I only have a cash set of 1/2.50/20's so it really would not be an issue for me.
