4/7/07 update: The first 25 sample sets were shipped in December. The new 200-chip set (25 more sample sets) was ordered and has been received. The cost went up slightly, and I underestimated the shipping on the last batch of sample sets that went out, so there will be a slight increase in price. Four people paid back in December, and because they have waited so long, I am covering any increase for their sets. For everyone else, the price breaks down as follows:
Total cost to me: $69 + $18 shipping = $87
200 chips = 25 8-chip sample sets
$87 / 25 = $3.48 per sample set
Weight is approximately 6 ounces for the 8-chip sample set.
First Class: $1.59
Canada (Global Priority Mail): $4.25 (could probably fit 2 or 3 sample sets for the same price -- anything under 4 lbs.)
Total cost per sample set, shipped:
US: $3.48 + $1.59 = $5.07
Canada: $3.48 + $4.25 = $7.73
Sample sets have been shipped to the following people:

That leaves 20 sample sets to go. 800-over has agreed to take whatever sets are left, on the condition that he gets to keep the box and the extras (cards, dealer button) that comes with it. I've agreed to do that. These people previously signed up and have priority in gettng in on the rest of the 21 sample sets.:

The chips are are made by Cartamundi. Cartamundi also made the chips & cards used in the movie. There is no difference between these chips and the chips used in the movie. The chips are very heavy and weigh 14 grams each. They have the look, sound, & feel of solid clay chips. Out of all the affordable sets we sell this is the best!
