***3/23/07 Update***
This group buy consisted of pre-USPC green/brown circleback casino KEMs, pre-USPC black/burgundy casino KEM's, USPC red/blue casino KEMs, and USPC green/brown casino KEMs. The order was placed through Kardwell and I think we totaled something like 130 set-ups (260 decks). The order was sent to me in 12/06 and all cards delivered to the group buyers in 12/06 and 1/07.

Some people with the pre-USPC cards complained that they got seconds instead of casino quality. I am in the process of making that right with Joe from Kardwell.

Phase 1 consisted of replacing cards for those that only had a few problems. The following people had individual cards replaced:

Those replacements were mailed 3/22/07 and 3/23/07. Joe sent them to me for free, and I covered the shipping back out to you guys. Hopefully, this will make the six of you "right". Please confirm when you get them in.

Also, Joe sent me a full set-up to use as replacements and then a few miscellaneous cards that had duplicate problems. As a result, I have some spare cards available if others need a replacement:

Diamonds: A, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, J

If you were involved in the original group buy but missed phase 1, I will send you replacement cards, but you pay the postage. If you were not involved in the group buy, these cards are available for $1 each, with the intention that sales will offset what I have to pay in postage to re-ship.

Phase 2 is already under way for those that have entire decks (or nearly all of a deck) damaged/unacceptable. I will continue to take claims into next week, then I will send Joe a fax with a list of the problems. I assume that you will have to send me your ace of spades in Phase 2 to get a replacement, but I don't know that for sure. I also do not know what the remedy will be. I assume they will be replaced, but they may also be substituted (for, say, post-USPC casinos, which had almost no problems) or refunded. When I know the remedy and the replacement/refund procedure, I will let you know.

Once Phase 2 is over, you will have to deal with Joe directly for problems. I will be glad to confirm with Joe what cards you purchased as part of this group buy, but you will have to work with him to correct your porblems.

Been spending the day updating this thread with new orders, hyperlinking to old orders, checking both Paypals for new payments, updating my spreadsheet...

Its Wednesday afternoon. I'm going to assume Joe is shut down for the holiday. I'll give him a call next Monday. Anyone who has already paid will get a refund if there is another price drop.

I'm happy to pay extra to have them shipped in a box so they don't get damaged en route. 2 setups will fit in a GPM flat rate envelope but there is nothing to protect them from being squished. If it is a hassle though no worries, it is not that big a deal.

If it is cool with you I will pay for these + the Casino Royale sample + shipping and have them all sent at once.

2 set-ups is about 2 lbs. (just under). Two lbs. to the great white north is $11.50 in the non-flat rate envelope.

I don't have a problem shipping them togehter with the Casino Royales. It might take it over the weight, though. 2.5 lbs. to Canada in non-flat-rate packaging is $12.75.

Yup, I couldn't agree more! I can honestly say the exact same thing: Pre-USPC green/brown circle backs are THE BEST cards I've ever played with

Yep, I was at a card room that had the copag casino's and they were pretty nice, but the KEM casino's blow them away, heck I am debating jumping in here and getting another setup even though I don't need them

Something to remember for the non-US buyers. Global Priority Mail is capped at 4 lbs., or just about 4 set-ups.

If you want more, its going to cost you!

I just quoted 5 set-ups to Ireland at $76 for Global Express Mail or $19.50 for Parcel Post (surface). But the wait on parcel post was 4-6 weeks!

The best solution, IMHO, is to send orders in multiple shipments. I could send the same 5 set-ups to Ireland like this:

• GPM large flat rate envelope for two set-ups = 9.50
• GPM large flat rate envelope for two more set-ups = 9.50
• GPM small flat rate envelope for the last set-up = 5.25

Total for 5 set-ups was $24.25... That's 1/3rd of the Global Express Mail price and 2-5 weeks quicker than parcel post.

If you are out of the US and getting more than 2 set-ups, let me know so we can figure out what works best for you.

Yup....that 2 setups that I have it already more than I need. Through work I can have as many Dal Negro setups as I want at half the cost (We have containers coming from Italy every 2 months and they don't mind sending things.....let's say illegally....e.i.Wine, fresh Mozzarella, ........playing cards), and on top of the g/b circle setup that I have, I need at LEAST 2 more.
