I was thinking of getting some Deadwood dealer buttons made to go with my set (like the ones abcgiftsandawards did with the Pharaoh's Coaster / Dealer Buttons).
Comments and ideas appreciated.

Chips: 5,848 | | | Re: Deadwood Dealer Buttons I like the idea and have thought about it myself a few times but I'd like something a little bit closer to the chip style. Not sure if we'd need to get Josh's persmission depending on how close it was to the inlay style. |

Chips: 1,769 | | | Re: Deadwood Dealer Buttons I couldn't find that wingding under the Deadwood logo
(unless I hack it from this: chip wingding at the bottom)
That I would like to add, or some other flourish.
Since every chip has the same logo, I was not interested in making the Buttons the same as that. I think the Deadwood theme is enough.
No infringement there.
I've sent Josh an email for input.
Variations ideas:
1 )Thinking of taking out the left right stars and inserting the A8 hand.
2) Making a wide border with some design in it.
Edits for new ideas:
3) "Aging" the lettering
4) Fade-out the picture edges

Better get Nanook's approval too...

Chips: 1,769 | | | Re: Deadwood Dealer Buttons I really had no interest in duplicating the chip image or infringing on anything. Since every chip denom has the same image I wanted to get away from that and actually come up with something new.
They really are stand alone dealer buttons using photos of historic figures, no mention of "Saloon & Casino", and no artwork duplication.

I took out the wood trays (which are very nice BTW, better looking than the type you get in wood travel cases) and put in dividers to accomodate more chips.
I hear they also auction the case on ebay and you can get it very cheap there. Quote: |
