I have submitted a date for the Showdown to the Palms. It is tentatively scheduled for August 12th. That is the Sunday immediately after the CC&GTCC event at the Riveria. That way you can spend some time at both events.

The next step is to get a firm date and head count for the Showdown. I know it will be hard to commit to a date but Its probably going to be on a weekend. After we get the date and headcount I need to send in a deposit.

I'm still riding high from the great time I had at the Windy City Blowout in Chicago. It was a fantastic expierience and I think it should be shared with everyone else!

I've been kicking the idea along of having another big meet in Las Vegas next year.

The bar has been set high with the Windy City Blowout. I hope to use the same great minds that planned the WCBO to help me plan this event as well.

I've already got some fun ideas in the works and much of it looks very possible. The details are in the air. But what I need to know now is...

Who's coming with me?

Thats good that you 2(3) are coming. Because you're on the kidnap list and it makes it so much eaiser when you come along willingly.

If it's in Vegas, the wife and I will both be there, and toting OTB schwag to give away this time. We are buying our own silk screening equipment this year!

Chicago is quite a ways from Southern California for a weekend trip.

I'll shoot for it. Probably come a few days early to get the Vegas stuff out of my system before I sit down with the CT gang.

LOL.... you gave me Idea. Next door neighbor Pilot and his wife flight attendent (his second wife flight attendent on the same airline, imagine that....LOL), gonna have to start planting the seed for something like this.. have to get Meatchigan tickets (something a Buckeye would never use) as some leverage....

Talk to Strange if you think Chicago is a ways from California.

I will probably be interested in the 2nd annual meetup, regardless of where it is held, since the first one was such a positive experience. However, it is much to early for me to firmly commit so I will just follow the threads and stuff but in another 6 months or so when it gets a bit closer I will have a better idea. I am guessing that is the way it will be for a lot of people, but damn Harlequinn, you must be REALLY gung ho on the next one to already be making rough plans!
