Any interest in GB for solid ASM's???

Any interest in a SOLID ASM custom chip GB?? THIS WOULD BE FOR A TOURNAMENT CHIP. NCV or DENOMS CAN BE DECIDED LATER.

I spoke with Cathy and our choice be either a solid chip with a printed inlay, or just denoms hotstamped on a solid chip.

Inlay solid = .75 cents per chip with order of 2,500+
Denom stamp= .50 cents per chip with order of 2,500+

PLEASE POST IF YOUR INTERESTED AND HOW MANY at the price of .75 per chip (plus shipping)

I have also asked Cathy about molds, she said we can use any mold on the site except the "Roman Mold" because they are currently fixing it. I have already sent another e-mail regarding the "No mold" and "Fleur De Lis" mold to get some info on those...The "no mold" might be a great option if this takes off...

Just want to see if there is any interest as I have been craving a solid chip for a long time now....My first thought was a stamp like on the Fun Nite chips, but ASM does not offer this. I am hoping for colors similar to the USPC, I like more subdued colors, but I could also go with the bright colors if that's what the consensus is.

I was thinking colors of:
white/blue
red
green
black
gray
purple
yellow
chocolate

The colors I would older are gray, purple. red, and black (USPC)

I was thinking if we do an inlay something like the chip below, or similar to the "Black Sands" order that never took off:

I would be down for some of the Fleur de Lis mold. Would we pick our own inlay, or would it be one set for the whole group buy?

Re: Any interest in GB for solid ASM's???

Hmmm...

My guess is same inlay for the group because the big price break is at 2,500 chips and this really isn't a 'special' offer to chiptalk like the other order was..

Any person could call PC.com and do what we are doing if this goes through and for the same price.

Re: Any interest in GB for solid ASM's???

Also, my interest is probably 300-500 chips....

And I supposed if there 2-3 different inlay ideas, there could be 3 different orders of 2,500 chips with separate molds/inlays if necessary.....we'll see.

Re: Any interest in GB for solid ASM's???

If there was a basic black inlay, I'd be in maybe. Not too into a "no mold" or the Fleur de lis. I'd prefer H, HH, or A

I think a basic black inlay would great...we'll see.

I also prefer the regular molds....my guess is that the Fleur de lis and "no mold" will not be an option.....

The problem with getting hotstamps from ASM is our only choice is nothing but a number stamped on the center of the inlay. I might would get some, but I doubt there is a lot of interest in that.

Re: Any interest in GB for solid ASM's???

After "wet stamping" my faux clay, I would be interested in a solid hotstamped chip with just the denom...I thought they would look very plain, but the more I look at my faux set, the more appealing they are to me...

So here's one supporter of a simple denom stamp only...

However, I would be more interested if there were a few dayglo colors involved...namely the DG yellow and DG pink.

I would be VERY interested in a solid GB. If only ASM would do a CUSTOM HOT-STAMP !! I'm ready, willing & able
