I've been looking at the Desert Palms (DP) and absolutely love them -- the color, design, etc. are fantastic. For the way I tend to play the $2 & $3 chips don't really fit though --I love the look of each but I'd much rather see those two denoms be converted over into $0.25 and $0.50 chips.
Yes, I know there is a hot stamped $0.25/$0.50 DP chip but since I'm in deep with my chip addiction I'd really like those lower denomination chips to match the look of the higher denominations -- does that make sense?
So I emailed Jim (owner of the artwork) and he was VERY nice in offering this. IF I can get together a minumum of 1,000 chips for the $0.25 and 1,000 chips for the $0.50 then he can make it happen.
Unfortunately I don't have any graphic skills but I'm assuming you can use your imagination (at least in this inital stage here) -- visualize the $2 graphic below being replaced by .25 and the $3 would become .50
I know I'd be in for at least 200, .25 chips and 200, .50 chips -- so I only need to find others to buy 800 more or each! I don't know exactly what the final price would be now but I'd have to think around $1 each.
So anyone interested? Thoughts?
