Chips: 52 | | | Re: Borgata Replica Chips I could be wrong here, but I think these chips are all 43mm, like the St. Charles solids that are floating around CT. |

If you want to get close to sound, feel, and looks, you will have to probably go with TR King or possibly ASM.

I could be wrong, but it seems to me that Chipco would rather honor a copyright protecting the Borgata logo and even perhaps the chip inlay designs themselves, than run the risk of losing it's New Jersey Gaming Commission licensing authorization to manufacture gaming equipment for the casinos that operate in New Jersey.
This same comment can also apply to GPI (Paul-Son, Bud Jones and B&G) and John Huxley, as they are all licensed to operate in New Jersey, which, just like in Nevada and a few other gaming jurisdictions, require (and can inspect for compliance) manufacturers of gaming equipment to, amoung other things, avoid conflicts of interest, like giving the appearance of counterfeiting chips of a viable casino operation.
Turns out that there is a reason(s) why some gaming equipment manufacturers are not licensed in some gaming jurisdictions and why some have lost a license or two over the years.
On a side note, I think I'd like to give credit where credit is do. The scans you have opted to use are courtesy of Archie Black (all with the black background) and Ricky Pushkin (the lone scan with the white background). Both of these individuals spend a great deal of time maintaining their websites, which of course are geared towards sales, but also double as reference sites.

I mean, they don't really show any close ups of any chips, it's hard getting a glimpse of chips' inlays, so I can't really imagine falling in love with the inlay from the TV.
Do you like the solid colors of them? If that's the case, you should look into ASM, TR King, or Blue Chip for solid chips ... some sort of replica of these chips on a ceramic doesn't really fit. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
