There's nothing like the feel and sound of a real Chipco chip. It's true casino quality. You get your money's worth, though it's at a premium price.
I didn't buy the WSOP replicas even though I really like them, because I love Paulson clays and will put my money there. But I may buy a set of the cheaper ceramics (Bellagios) just for fun, because they are such a good deal. The new ceramics may make Chipco's position a little tougher in the amateur market. |

That is the key, Chipco, like paulson, while it does cater to the home market, keeps its main focus on the casino industry, and, like paulson, will not bend to much to the home market. |

I doubt they will go down that drastic. .74 cents is still an extremely good deal for this quality chip. I heard something about epokerdeals coming out with the new 06 colors soon. They are ordering them and if they get 5000 plus chips than the cost will be .64 cents a chip, an even better deal. Check the group buy! |

I'm thinking you searched for "WSOP" and then just replied to a bunch of threads from the results. Did you notice how old some of these threads are? |

I think Bostonpokerchips is right. ChipCo will continue to sell their share of chips to casinos. Casinos will continue buying from them for a number of reasons. They have always bought from them, they are not aware that there are alternatives out there etc. However, more and more casinos are switching for the cheaper ceramic chips because of the comparable quality and the (much) lower pricing, and most home users today wouldn't choose ChipCo chips over the cheaper ceramic chips since the quality difference is slight and the price difference is quite large.
