Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

I like the center ring design too. I hope johnny5 comes up with something angular (square shapped inlay) like the mockups I atached (ignore the crown chips and concentrate on the 1000) The problem is the very inner circle of the inlay is small. You can't really do much with it. But I still think a sqaure looking inlay looks nice.

Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

Here are some pics that I took of my sample set. I am really liking the 43mm chips.

I was told that there was a $250 artwork fee for each denom using the SAME design by Jinny. I hope he was thinking I said something else.

Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

I Just hope I'm wrong. Maybe someone else can confirm a price quote and the artwork fees. I was told that I could order any type of chip they sent me. I run a small fundraiser (casino nights) company 8 months out of the year and the other 4 months run a game concession on the Boardwalk in NJ, so maybe that is why I wasn't given any restrictions on the chip type. I don't have the capitol to make such a large purchase so I am just going to get on this GB with you guys.

I was told the minimum order is 10,000 chips. Not sure if he said 10k per denom not. I lost the email with all the prices when my system crashed last week.

Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

No you are correct. Since we'll undoubtedly have the demons on the inlays, each denom will have different artwork and therefore incur the $250 charge.

10k min order, 1k min per denom.

If we order enough chips the price drops to less than $1 per chip. See the main thread for all the details.

Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

I have been talking to Jinny for the last couple of days.
Facts:
Minimum order -10,000
Min for each denom -1,000
Art fee for each denom -$250
Cost per chip with Fees -$1.10/chip for 40mm
$1.15/chip for 43mm
The original poster on the other thread must have misunderstood when he thought that the cost for 40mm and 43mm would be the same.
Plaques will be about $7/each

I will be posting Johnny5's inlay ideas here shortly, so hopefully we can get things going.

I am ready, willing and able to take this Group Buy by the horns, and make it smooth and easy for everyone involved.

Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

I don't even think they are available to the public. Only the regular decal chip. We can't even get the inner ring chip with the denoms on the chip mold.

Re: Matsui Group Buy (Gauging Interest)

the $1.10 and $1.15 per chip is based on 1000 chips ordered? if so, more of each denom ordered would lower costs ,right?
