Chips: 450 | | | "Canadian Clay" The Great Northern Group Buy We have decided to go with a clay chip on this group buy. sorry if that dissapoints anyone, but there you have it.
This will be a distintely Canadian chip, something that us Canucks can call our own. The manufacturer is yet be decided but I feel that we are going to be getting that done very soon.

Chips: 450 | | | Re: Are there enough Canadians for a Group Buy? Ok , I think if there are at least 5 people interested in this I will start polls for who we want to make the chips, then denominated on not, then base colours, and so forth. |

Chips: 450 | | | Re: Are there enough Canadians for a Group Buy? Hmm, depending on the time that it takes to get this off the ground, I may have a solution to the shipping/customs problem.(I am thinking of going to trucking school.) |

Chips: 450 | | | Re: Are there enough Canadians for a Group Buy? By the way, have you canadians heard of www.pokerforum.ca?
It's a great forum just for canadians, and i am sure that a few of them would jump on board, I'll put a thread in there directing them to here. |

"Smuggle" is such a nasty word, however my Thesaurus is....ok i don't have one, and can't think of another word, but as a smoker and car owner, I think that i pay quite enough taxes already, thank-you-very-much. I guess that this is something that we will have to look into when the time comes.
I expect the price to be around what we pay for other GB's, around $1.25 CAD, but nothing is for sure yet. Nothing at all. |

Chips: 450 | | | Re: Are there enough Canadians for a Group Buy? I see. Ok, so who is good with the mockups?
I had a few ideas, either just the trusty maple leaf on every one to keep the artwork fees down, or we could match the denoms up with the images (not exact, but the same animal) as we have on the coins and bills(beaver for $5, moose for $25, loon for $100, Wilfred Laurier for $500(jk, hockey for $500)). But I am helpless with the art programs. |

Chips: 450 | | | Re: Are there enough Canadians for a Group Buy? Say, I like that.
I think it would be hilarious to put, instead of made (or played) in Canada, we could put, "call that eh, ya hoser" |

Chips: 450 | | | Re: Are there enough Canadians for a Group Buy? S'matter of fact, if someone can put together a Bob and Doug MacKenzie mockup, that might catch more than just Canadian popularity. |

Other wise I would be in for a couple hundred.
Here are some phrases from when I was trying to find something for my Canadian Chip Quote: |
