Chips: 4,648 | | | What do you think, group buy Samuria blanks? I really love the looks of the Samuria's.
The colors are beautiful and the design is great.
Even the inlay is nice, but there in lies the problem.
Although I can appriciate the inlay for what it is I would like to do my own.
Since Apache is going to own the dies how about blank chips.
I know I would start with about 1,000 and they should be cheaper then the Samuria's.
He could make more money to recoup his investment and more of use could have these awsome looking chips and by then we would have got our sample to check the quality.
Is this possible or am I nuts? | | Sponsored Links | |

Chips: 62 | | | Re: What do you think, group buy Samuria blanks? I inquired to CnC about having the same chips done with an inlay of my choice. It could have been done but for 5000 chips minimum. This was back when Ace was still the one buying the mold so that may not be the case now. I feel the same as you, love the colors and spots but the inlay does nothing for me. |

If it falls apart I may be up for a 3 to 400 set of a custom label , but not blank. |

Chips: 840 | | | Re: What do you think, group buy Samuria blanks? i would probably buy 500-700 if the price was around $0.70 or so. anything much higher than that and i would go with ASM's instead, even though the edge spots on this particular BC set are so great.
in fact, i would probably buy some samurai's if the black inlay was on both sides. the geisha image looks too much like clipart to me.

Chips: 195 | | | Re: What do you think, group buy Samuria blanks? I would be in for blanks, or customs if possible, but only if it got going before the black sands are accepting payment. If there is a 5000 min. we could have people submit designs and vote and start a mini group buy.
I also love the chip colors and edgespots and am just not very into the theme.

Chips: 4,648 | | | Re: What do you think, group buy Samuria blanks? I would like to do something with an antique motorcycle theme but figure most people here would not care for that, that is why I suggested blanks.
The colors of these chips would go beautifully with what I have in mind. |

Chips: 195 | | | Re: What do you think, group buy Samuria blanks? You're probably right, antique cycles would probably be too specific if it were going to be a group thing. That is the problem with the samurai chips IMO.
The Pharaoh's were also too specific and I am not really into the whole mummy egyptian thing, but I have 400 of them because the design is great and looks like a classic casino chip. It's not too heavy on the egypt theme.
