Hi guys, I was wondering how one goes about starting a group buy. Are designs voted on first and then a chip manu is found or does a person work out the details with a chip manu first then put their designs up to vote?

While I am no expert, I would you suggest you have a design and a manufacturer selected. I would also verify that you can get discounted prices for quantity.


It might be best to start with a thread that polls the users as to level of intrest in a particular style or design. But be prepared for questions about how much per chip or samples vs sets etc. You don't need to have exact figures to get started with. I would also have an image or such for people to see what your talking about.
