I am running a limited (exactly 35 sets) mini group buy of the new Key West ASM's
from Apache Poker Chips.

Pricing

9-chip sets will cost $9 plus shipping to you.

The $9 covers the chips, express shipping to me, and PayPal fees.

Shipping

Option 1 - Standard US Mail. Flat $2.00 per set to cover a padded envelope
and 1st-class postage.

Option 2 - Priority Mail. Flat $4.30 for up to 5 sets, including delivery confirmation.

Option 3 - Canada. As best I can tell, it is $4.00 for a couple of sets.

Payment

The Big Day (for our mini buy)

I placed the order with Apache on 10/10/05, the day I received payment for our
35th set of 9 (325 chips total). Expect shipment to me by express shipping in the
first week of November. I plan to have the sample sets back on their way to you
either the same day or next day after I receive them. I will of course post here
to keep you informed of all progress on the order.

Guarantee

I guarantee that if I received payment from you (which I did for everyone listed below),
I will ship you your chips. I will also inspect the chips prior to shipping to ensure that they are in good shape.

For those who opt for Priority Mail, the tracking number will verify both that I sent the chips
and that you received them.

For those who go with the standard postage, verification will not be possible. If this makes
you uncomfortable, opt for the Priority Mail.

That line caught my attention as well. I guess it's hard to imagine any inlay that would be too hard to pry off with a knife though.

If you take a knife and jam it in there and try and pry it up, it will come up. Once you get it started they seem to come up pretty easily. I have done this with other ASM chips as well. Just don't hand out sharp knives to your buddies on poker night! Kidding..

Relax, ASM's might be a little easier to intentionally destroy than some of the others, but they will hold up just fine.

Yup, you can lift off the inlay with a knife if you want to. But it will take a small chunk of the chip under it with it. I can say the ASM inlay does come off easier than the Paulson (JB2005 for instance) inlay. But either one really requires some determination to remove the inlay for this to happen. It should be of NO concern to anyone at all.

Please note that I have changed the main post to indicate that this group buy is now limited to 35 sets rather than 35-50 sets. It occurred to me that I don’t want to have last minute orders coming in, requiring me to add a chip at a time to the main order with Apache. So, once we reach 35, the buy will close and I’ll place the order.
