Robot to wash the floors - really

I have a Roomba, and I truly love it. Now they're making one to WASH the fllors! (I have faux-wood floors, so this is perfect).

What exactly are faux-wood floors? Made from some plastic composite material, boring to look at but sounds like wood when you walk on it? Mold pimple visible on one side?
