Chips: 1,555 | | | You know you're a Chip Junkie when... You overhear a news report that the price of blue chips went up today and you immediately place a new For Sale auction on eBay for all of your custom blue chips.
You drool over a brand spanking new $0.50 Paulson chip you harvested off a casino table because you know its worth twice that on the market. (Guilty on this account).
You spend $500 on a nice set of custom poker chips but all you really play is on-line poker.
You throw away your blow up doll after you see the mock-ups of the American Beauty custom chips.
ok folks - keep em coming... | | Sponsored Links | This custom ChipTalk link is built to show you only the real deal: Casino quality poker chips; Not the plastic chips that some sellers call "clay." http://www.eBay.com/casino-chips | |

Chips: 2,131 | | . . . you make your own little chip-shuffling pad out of the remnants of your poker table padding/fabric (who needs the little poker table?). . . and you shuffle (read: attempt to shuffle) Bud Jones chips because clays and ceramics are too easy now. |

Chips: 104 | | | When you check your favorite chip sites (ChipTalk, The Chip Board, and ebay) before work, at lunch, and pretty much all evening long!
When your Favorites tab in Internet Explorer has over 65 bookmarked sites that are poker chip related!
When you consistently watch 50 or more auctions on ebay for obsolete collector chips!

Chips: 233 | | | When you sit at your computer, shuffling chips, and constantly refreshing chiptalk.net hoping someone posted something new....And if not, you go to the custom chip pics section and look at the pics you have already seen 100 times.

Chips: 89 | | | I am so relieved at this topic. I thought I was the only one.
I say this, and most people don't believe me, but at least half of my motivation to play B&M poker is because I love handling Paulsons. It's an obsession to me. Poker, because you're supposed to have a lot of chips. Poker, because I can learn to win, meaning I get to spend more time around the chips.
Then, there are the side-trips to the Blackjack tables because I extra-double obsess over pink chips.
So, I:
Have about 3,000 Paulsons, not counting th 1000 Pharaohs that haven't arrived yet.
Always have a couple of stacks on my desk at work (ok, four racks) to shuffle/fiddle with while I work.
Usually have a couple stacks on the headboard of my bed so I can have some to shuffle while I lay in bed and watch TV.
Have absolutely no real-life prospects of actually using any of my Paulsons in an actual game - and I'm ok with that. I'm not sure I'd want to risk them that way, anyway. | | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
