RIP Billy Mays

This news just in... Billy Mays, the burly, bearded television pitchman known for his boisterous hawking of products such as Orange Glo and OxiClean, has died. He was 50.

Re: RIP Billy Mays

I'm sorry for his family, but SO glad I won't have him screaming at the top of his lungs at me on commercials anymore. God I hated that guy!

I wonder if Vince the Shamwow guy will do the eulogy?

Re: RIP Billy Mays

His show Pitchmen, about his career and partnership with Anthony Sullivan (a British guy who does the same thing Billy Mays does) as well as his family and friends has been quite entertaining. I enjoy watching what goes into their projects from inventors pitching them all the way to them pitching the products for television. I feel bad for Mays's wife and children.

MJ was the 3rd..this is the fourth (McMahon, Farrah, MJ and Billy Mays). Kindof a disconnected lineup. The 5th will probably be Turbo from Breakin 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Re: RIP Billy Mays

This is a good article about him and includes a video of him ordering at a drive thru.

Re: RIP Billy Mays

MJ & Billy were both 50 -- hum, that just seems way too young to me (as someone not that far away). Ultimately I'm sorry for their families & their losses.
