That "overtime" was complete BULLS**T!
How do you go from a timed eating contest to a speed eating contest? That's like the NBA deciding overtime by playing HORSE instead of playing out the game.
Overtime should have been another 2 minutes (the 2 minutes they shaved off from previous years).

Joey Chestnut is a worthy champion. It is unfortunate that they did not pick a winner in the regular time and went to that stupid overtime. Probably a ploy for television drama. Anyway its amazing those guys can eat that much more than the third place finishers.

i know these guys aren't allowed to upchuck during the contest but are there rules for afterwards? i can't imagine keeping that much food down (especially lips, snouts, etc.)
