Its not the poker or the forum stuff that she doesn't get, its why I need more chips. One nice set she gets, 3 not so much, and forget sample sets and singles!

They think my golf is stupid too, hence they are not my golfing buddies either.
They think my love for the theater, arts and ballet is odd, hence they are all ex's. |

Oh well if it wasn't CT, it would be something else I am doing on the net.

Between me being on CT and The Chip Board, or talking in the Chipper's Chat Room, my wife gets chipped out, BUT when we go to chip meetings she likes looking through chips and casino stuff. Can't wait for the CC>CC convention. Still trying to figure out how to get my first custom set. |

She doesn't mind Chiptalk.. and was happy for me when I wouldn't shut up about winning the Lonestar raffle. "OMG custom ASM's!!!" doesn't mean as much to her as it does to the people around here . She appreciates playing with good chips, and doesn't mind my hobby.. as long as I can keep getting to the mailbox before she does. |

They are awesome! There isn't enough I can say about them. I've never seen the horsehead mold be more appropriate on a set of chips. The inlay looks great, and the color combos/edgespots compliment each other perfectly. Half pies are just the icing on the cake. I love 'em. |

Chips: 493 | | | Re: What does your Significant Other think of CT? My girl hates this site for a variety of reasons.
1) Hanging out with "imaginary" internet friends who may or may not be homicidal axe-wielding manics is not cool in her book.
2) This site has lead to a decrease in my personal savings, storage space, desk space, but an increase in clutter, chip cases, and cards.
3) "Why do you need another set?" C'mon, you've all heard it before.
4) She blows a gasket every time something shows up in the mail.
5) Time spent on Chiptalk takes away from time spent with her.
