Re: What else do you collect??? (pics encouraged!)

I have collected many things over the course of my life. As a kid/teen I collected sports cards / autographs. Mostly baseball and football. Then my wife and I ( at the time girlfriend) started collecting Monopoly games. I currently am collecting parts for my 79 malibu restoration. Been gathering them for almost 7 years now (some are really hard to find in good condition). Have almost everything I need. Concentrating on the motor (no not stock). Here's the latest additions (thanks online poker)

Heads are Dart Pro1 200's built by CDR Performance for my engine combo

IMG]http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn52/littlebu/100_1467.jpg[/IMG]

And new full length ceramic coated dynomax headers

I could pull out the rest of the engine parts and snap pics if you want to see what a non assembled engine looks like.

Re: What else do you collect??? (pics encouraged!)

My current addiction is adding digital drums to my Roland Digital drum set. I'll post some pics of it as I build it into a Neil Peart like monstrosity.

Here are few threads to read up on BCC: BCC NCV chips | How BCC takes care of a bad order | Warped BCC chips

Ask BCC: Why does it take 6-8 months when you promised 4-5 weeks? How come you didn't look at the chips before you sent them out? Why does it take 6+ months for BCC to make good on a bad order after waiting 6-8 months in the first place?

Have any pics of the actual car? What kind of power and/or 1/4 mile times are you shooting for with that setup? I'd love to see some more pics.

Matchbox MOYY

Matchbox Models of Yesteryear. Mainly the series 2 (1965 -1972), although I have some Series 1 and Series 3. I only need one more to have the entire series 2 and I have a few variations of the same model. I'm still looking for a 1938 LAGONDA DROPHEAD COUPE (NO. Y-11).

Anyone got one that they don't want?

Re: What else do you collect??? (pics encouraged!)

Not a lot of the car not pic worthy yet. The car is a 1979 chevy malibu (hence the screen name)
Engine combo is:

383

forged eagle crank 6 in forged eagle rods Srp 10.6:1 forged pistons all internally balanced
Comp XE 284
Dart pro 1's 200cc
1.5 Crane full roller rockers
Edelbrock Vic Jr.
750 Quick Fuel Technologies DPer
Edelbrock 100 shot
Msd 6al & Msd distributor
Dynomax ceramic coated headers
2.5 x pipe with dynomax ultraflows

Th400 3000 stall <---Might go with a TH350
12 bolt with 3.73's

Should go mid 11's. It's going to be a mostly a street car that goes to the track once a month.

Suspension :
Front - Tubular upper CA's stock lowers
KYB shocks <-most likely changing
all poly bushings/body mounts
Moroso trick springs
Rear -
Moroso trick springs
KYB's <- again probably changing
Poly bushings
Air bags
Anti roll bar

Rear is a chevy 12 bolt with 3.73's - moser axles, moser stud cover, posi, c clip eliminators

Dual fuel systems. Holley mechanincal pump for engine, Holley electric for nitrous side.

That's all I can think of now. Body work should be done by the end of the summer along with the frame blasted/painted and plumbed. I'm really hoping for a completion or at least very close by next spring.

Re: What else do you collect??? (pics encouraged!)

Great collections, everyone.

Like AlbinoDragon, I'm a bit of an animation art junkie. My goal is to have a nice example from each of my favorite childhood shows. All of these are original cels used in the actual production of these cartoons...

Inspector Gadget (with original printed background)
M.A.S.K. (2 separate cels and original painted background)
Dinosaucers (2 separate cels and original painted background)
He-Man (3 separate cels, reproduction background, and original envelope)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Pro-Stars w/ Bo Jackson (2 separate cels with original painted background) - note: I used to collect Bo Jackson cards when I was a kid (over 250!)
The Real Ghostbusters (with original pencil drawing)
The Super Mario Brothers Super Show

Re: What else do you collect??? (pics encouraged!)

I have about 75-100 "Homies" and 3 homie bobble heads

--->>HOMIES<<---

I will post pics if someone asks.

Also, burned dvd's (about 350 or so) and burned avi files for my standalone divx player (about 3-400 discs full, so I cant even imagine how many files). (Nothing copyrighted of course...)
