Fast Times at Ridgemont High

While packing for Vegas, I was watching the classic "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" and I never realized until now that among the superstars of today that appeared in the mid 80's movie, was Nicolas Cage making his big screen debut. He looked like he was 15 years old.

Re: Fast Times at Ridgemont High

Which kid was he? I don't remember seeing him. The movie had a great cast. I remember Eric Stoltz and Anthony Edwards as Spicoli's buds. Forrest Wittecker as Jefferson. Jennifer Jason Leigh and of course, Phoebe Cates!

Tons of great scenes like this one..

[after Spicoli wrecks Jefferson's car]
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill us! He's gonna kill you and he's gonna kill me, he's gonna kill us!
Jeff Spicoli: Hey man, just be glad I had fast reflexes!
Jefferson's Brother: My brother's gonna sh*t!
Jeff Spicoli: Make up your mind, dude, is he gonna sh*t or is he gonna kill us?
Jefferson's Brother: First he's gonna sh*t, then he's gonna kill us!
Jeff Spicoli: Relax, all right? My old man is a television repairman, he's got this ultimate set of tools. I can fix it.

Dang it I can't remember. It can't be the dude he was training when the grill caught on fire? Now I gotta watch it again! I guess I can keep replaying the Phoebe pool scene.

He actually has one speaking line near the beginning of the movie...."Brad, your sister's turning into a fox!"

"All I need are some tasty waves, a cool buzz and I'm fine!"

I think we all need to have a little bit of Spicoli in us
