Rockband Anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know guitar hero has been around for some while now and played in the store a few times. My wife was at a store the other day and seen rock band for sale, she talked me into buying it for the kids. Now I'm 33 and played video games since my commodore to Atari to Nintendo and so on, but this is AWESOME. Me and my wife play it more than the kids, We put the kids to bed and go in the den shut the door and rock, she's the drums and I'm the guitar. I haven't laughed like this in a long time, I was playing the drums (pretty wild) and lost a stick, she thought I was trying to twirl it. Then I lost it and we both started laughing, and they booed us off the stage. This will be real funny when we have a party,one person sings, the other guitar, the other drums, and if I can find another guitar you can have 4 people at a time play. Mix it with some alcohol and wallah instant entertainment.

This is an awesome game. I played it for the first time on New Years day. We had a whole group together playing. No one wanted to sing so I handled the mic all night. It's cool since I like singing most of the songs. My girlfriend loves the drums as well. Me personally, I suck as a drummer...But I guess I'll get better with time.

I'm not use to the guitar controls, aside from the extra 5 buttons on the guitar neck towards the body, I still like the guitar hero controls better. But what I do approve of more than guitar hero is the soundtrack. I wish Guitar hero 3 had sound garden and Nirvana. Anyway, Keep rockin!

My 15 year old son has been playing it non-stop since Christmas. He's drumming in the background right now. Can't you hear it?

Looks like fun, but I'm not much of a video gamer any more.

My friends and I enjoy the heck out of this game as well. I've had more musical training than the guys who have the game, so they let me bump my part to medium while they stick to easy. I've read that the drum pedal has a short lifespan if you play on medium or hard, so we may have to reinforce it with sheet metal or something. There are some great songs in the lineup, but I'm also excited about upcoming downloadable content.

My dad needed christmas gift stuff for the kids (he is no shopper). I suggested XBOX 360 Elite. WE have WII and PS3 but we wanted to get the kids Rock Band and guitar hero. Sooooo, he took care of that and we bought the rock band, guitar hero II for one kid and gh III for another.

My wife is hooked. We played it christmas night til 3 in the morning. And now that the kids are back in school, me and the wifey play it after they go to bed. I play drums she plays guitar. We use the guitar hero guitars for our extra guitar so we can have base and lead. Dont have many people volunteer to sing however.

Our band is sweet, I am up to medium on drums and she can play base on medium for most songs, and she uses the hard level on some of the easier songs. My youngest girl is the best on lead guitar. She plays medium all the time and hard sometimes.

Anyway, wanted to chime in that we are hooked on it as well. I have always loved video games since forever. I recently purchased an old coleco vision and nintendo nes. We were missing us some donkey kong and I am hosting an RBI baseball and Tecmo Bowl football tournament in the future.

What a bunch of nerds, i know.
