Re: Sellers remorse

How about this.....I bought some chips and before I recieved them I developed a case of buyers remorse. When I got them I traded them for something else. When I got those chips in, I had traders remorse. So I decided to sell my traded chips. Guess what? Yep, sellers remorse.

Time to buy some more chips

This custom ChipTalk link is built to show you only the real deal: Casino quality poker chips; Not the plastic chips that some sellers call "clay."

Re: Sellers remorse

I just looked through the list of all the 15+ chipsets that I've sold and realize that I only have remorse relative to four of them - Pharaohs, Egyptians, BCC Windy City Blowouts and Amabassador Plaza. I lost money on the Pharaohs so that's where the remorse is relative to that set. The Egyptians took me forever to accumulate and I had a ton of ocatagons and plaques that were hard to find so that's why the remorse there. The WCBs were really special to me for all kinds of personal reasons and I wish that I hadn't sold them. The APs were just so darned beautiful and minty and special so that is why I have remorse for that sale.

Re: Sellers remorse

I have about $5k tied up in TRK's and Vineyards - way too much money for me to have invested in chips. I decided to sell one of my sets a couple of months ago - but can't bring myself to actually do it. The thought of shipping them off "never to be seen again" - ugh!!!! The horror! The horror!

Re: Sellers remorse

To this day I have remorse over selling my:

St Joes
Wyndhams
PNY's
Christos
Grand Casino HS's
The higher denom Crystal Parks
and my Cherrys

The worst part about it is I'm right on the fence with selling my current Crystal Park set, WITH the .25 and $1 Paradise Bingos because I found another set I want. I have no idea how I would ship those out since I love them so much, lol, but I never use them anymore since I got my ASM cash set.

It's sick and twisted....this thing of ours.

Re: Sellers remorse

Never any remorse.... Still have my PNY's...and have really lost the itch for new chips. May buy another 200 and call it a set.

Re: Sellers remorse

My 2nd chipset purchased. Also, probably one of my first threads on this site were of these chips. Sold them and not 2 weeks later, TRK is closed forever!

Re: Sellers remorse

I'll lay odds this won't happen. Anybody want to take the other side of this action other than 99?
