He had been craving a meal at his old favorite haunt, and with a Sunday PD under his arm he was as happy as could be. He'd finished 2nd in that tourney and then went with me to a game in Parma for a few hours of cash action.
Traveling through the city had brought back a flood of memories for him and he confided that he wished to move back to Cleveland as soon as possible.

It was a beautiful Spring morning, and packs of bikes roared by our window seat every few minutes. He craned his neck as they passed, hoping to recognize an old acquiantance perhaps, and then resumed puffing on one of the last cigarettes to be permitted inside the restaurant.
He was mighty proud of his pipe shield innovation and chided me for preferring to leave my own clays grubby.

The Faux-Clays, of course, were the chips we played in the tourney; all counted out in plastic tubes, ready to go. I'll bet they're still ready to go, waiting for another tourney, another finish in the money. Never did get to see that casino cash set.

And Scott was right. They still serve a damned good breakfast at Dimitri's. I guess I'll be there Sunday, toasting the Harleys with a cup of that great coffee, and thinking about the things that nobody ever can know.
Very nice story, thanks.

Re: RIP OLDCYCLES (Anyone heard from Oldcycles?)

RIP Scott. He was my first chip trader and he did a lot to introduce me into the hobby. He will be missed.

RIP OLDCYCLES

This is tough. I had a bad feeling with I called his public listed number and it rang for 1min+. I am very down about the news.

One thing I'm wondering is why no cause of death has been released? I really hope it was natural, and hope he was sleeping when he passed on.
