Anyone near Detroit want to hit a Wings game?
I will be in Novi, MI next week for training and was going to catch a Wings game on Wednesday (Nov 8th vs the Oilers). Any Chiptalkers interested in going to the game, let me know.
I do not have tickets yet, but stubhub has quite a few available for that night. I would like to go as cheap as possible as money is tight for me right now.

Music to my ears...to bad I only get to catch a few games a year, and its usually when they play the Hawks..One of these days I will get up there to a home game

I'd love to but am busy next week.
It's sad, really. I live within WALKING distance of the Air Canada Centre, but it's cheaper to rent a car, buy gas, and drive to Buffalo to see the Leafs play the Sabres than it is to get a ticket in Toronto. Besides, I have no loyalty for the Leafs... have always been a Wings fan!

I figured it would not hurt to ask. I am going regardless, I just figured a stranger with an interest in poker is better than a total stranger.....

Not sure if this is in your time frame .There's a game going on at hachkc's place on 11/4 (Sat.) Lake Orion, Mi. (Not far from Novi..PM him) Good luck, Enjoy the game and enjoy Detroit.

I have a buddy with season tickets... usually mid-week games are not spoken for. I can probably get you 1-4 at face value. He has two sets of four, one is about 7 rows into the second level in the corner (not sure on price), the other is about 19 rows up in the opposite corner ($44). Both pretty good seats.
Nov 8th is my son's second birthday, so I can't join you, unfortunately...
Too bad you can't make hachkc's game either...

It would be hard to beat the prices below, unless they are obstructed view or something weird. They are not great seats, but cheap.
I only need a single seat. Could you contact your buddy and see if he would sell just one, and give me a price? With the tix below, I get hit with a stub hub fee and overnight shipping so your buddies tix might be worth it.
