Ok so what are the most common and must know types of poker games for dealers choice?

obviously holdem, PLO, pineapple/crazy, stud, double flop holdem, etc.

Im hosting a dealers choice night and I would like to have the basics all covered.

Omaha 8 or better, razz, 2-7 triple draw, 5 card draw. IMO dealer's choice is much more fun when each game is played for a complete orbit of the dealer button. One round of each game is too choppy---especially if some folks are new to one or more of the games.

SOHe: Simultaneous Omaha and Hold'em

Each players gets six cards (max 7 players). Preflop the cards are divided by the player into a 4 card Omaha hand and a 2 card hold'em hand and the hands cannot be mixed from this point onward. Normal betting, flop-turn-river. Pot is split between the best Hold'em hand and the best Omaha (High only) hand.

Most of the time, instead of an orbit, we play eight hands of each game to equalize things between tables.

Here's the rules from the IP mixed game. Big O is also getting very popular in Vegas (5 card Omaha). Almost guarantees at least one person flops the nuts and someone else, a 17+ out draw.
