Anyone ever play this? Is there another name for it? Anyway, a friend was saying they played a game called Maverick on Thanksgiving. It's a 5 card stud game.
Each player antes a buck and get a card. If you want another card, you pay 3, 5 for the third, 7 for fourth and 9 for the fifth... Anyway, he said you could bet/raise 3 times each round. Best hand wins. Anyway, I'm trying to find the full rules for this, but can't seem to find them anywhere. Anyone play this or call it something different?
Never played it that way.. The group I started playing with over a year ago play a game called Maverick but it is simply Hold Em with a Hi/Lo split. They love splitting the pot any chance they get!
