What do you Play?

We always start off with a Texas Hold'em Tourney

then we play two other tournaments. We pick a game from the following pool:

Seven Card Stud
Five Card Draw
Omaha
Pineapple
Crazy Pineapple
Super Hold'em
Double Flop Hold'em

We don't play any low-ball games, the group I play with isn't in to them.
I am going to try and get them to play Razz next month though.

Re: What do you Play?

Just kidding...
We play typically
NLHE
Omaha Hi
crazy Pineapple
7 Stud (uggh)
5 Draw

I like to play Omaha, NLHE and Pineapple the most.

i'd like to get Razz in the mix, I've been playing it for a while (a year is a while to me) online, I got into it because I read that so many people hated it. Figured it would be one to get into, since the typical player wouldn't be as schooled in it.

Re: What do you Play?

Can you describe the last two? I have an idea for the double flop, but do you run the turn and river twice also?

most of my home games have boiled down to O8 and hold-em.

Re: What do you Play?

We play a NLHE tourney first, usually lasts about 2 hours (6-8 people), then we play either another NLHE tourney with a higher buy-in than the first tourney, or play some Omaha.

Re: What do you Play?

We play Double flop the same as Hold'em except

Top Flop = (Card #1) (Card #2) (Card #3)
then NO Burn and
Bottom Flop (Card #1a) (Card #2a) (Card #3a)

round of betting
Burn 1 card then
Top Turn Card
Bottom Turn Card

round of betting
Burn 1 card then
Top River Card
Bottom River Card

We call each board either Top or Bottom (from the dealers perspective)
Each player makes his best hand for each board at the showdown.
There are a lot of split pots, and a quartered one here and there.

Re: What do you Play?

As for Super Hold'em:

Exactly the same as Hold'em but you are dealt three hole cards, no stipulations on how to play them (use all or none or anything in between)

Re: What do you Play?

Normally just hold'em, sometimes with a blackjack tourney thrown in between two hold'em tournaments.
Once in a while we have a "player of the night" tournament where we play pot limit O8, followed by a blackjack tourney, followed by hold'em. You get points based on your finish in each event weighted so that the blackjack is worth the least and the hold'em the most. Player with the most points is crowned player of the night and wins some money set aside from the buy-ins.

Re: What do you Play?

We mostly play NL hold 'em cash games, sometimes a NL tourney and sometimes dealer's choice or HORSE rounds.

Re: What do you Play?

I have my once a month NLHE tourney.

I always have a .25/.50 pot limit cash game afterwards.

We play dealer(s) choice. HE, OMAHA, HI/LOW OMAHA, STUD, STUD HI/LOW, RAZZ, LOWBALL, BOX, 7 CARD NO PEAK, 5 CARD FU_KED, 5 DRAW, ect. Dealer can also call NL at any time. POTS get out of control sometimes. GREAT TIMES!!!
