Musical Chairs Poker

The post about replacing a player got me thinking about variations on the game. Wonder what these would be like?

Play a "regular" NLHE tourney, but at the end of every round, all the people move one chair to their left.

Hmm.

EDIT: I left out an important part. The chipstacks stay in the same place!!!!

I don't see how that would work with stack staying in same place. Maybe if you take your stack with you and switch seats by random draw, that will add something.

Leave the stacks. Do a random re-seating. Then no one could plan to loose their current chips to what they would think is their next chip stack.

Ya, how's this for a strategy.... Bet everything but one chip when you are the button. Fold regardless of the cards and action post-flop. Wait for the round to end. There. Now you've screwed the guy that gets your stack next round.

That is why I said it wouldn't work.

That is exactly what I thought until I read further down.

I had no intentions of it actually working.. LOL It was just a random thought.. Although, your strategy may not work, either. What if you don't get any callers? What if the guy to your left (last to act) does the same thing? Or play Limit instead of No Limit.
