While I'm waiting for my ASM's to arrive (shipped yesterday woooohoooo) Jason is designing my labels. These are the first two drafts and I'm looking for opinions and suggestions.
R.M. is both my son and I's initials so I want to incorporate them in the label,it means if I hand these down someday in the distant future they will still be relevant to my son.
I look forward to any advice/criticism/opinions given.
Thanks,
DerryABU
it would probably depend on your chips colors, but I prefer the first design. If you have lighter colored chips the label will really stand out and the black background really makes the writing stand out.
I like the font you have chosen but it may not be wide enough to be clearly seen on the white background.
I am voting for the first one. I chose that because your watermark on the second is way to small or the denom way to large. I like watermarks but they shouldn't be completly covered.
Other than that I like the idea...initials is always cool...and I like the font choice, really goes well with that large bottom spade!

I am a big fan of watermarks, but I would agree with the Capt. I think it should be a bit more visible under the denom. Make it larger and see what that looks like.
I like the 1st one also. It's a real stand out design. The watermark on the 2nd is just to pale. I also like the idea that you are combining your sons and your initials. Thats a good idea.
If so you could make the color gradient on the initials match the chip color, as well as the denom, maybe the other words also.
If you change the background color I would do much else. Maybe something with the color of the initials?
I was also just thinking that you might want to change that denom font. Doesn't seem to be "sweeping" enough, like the other letters. I hope I got that across to you!??!!>>!??
Good Luck. It is a really good start though!

I agree with Lumpy that the second design's central half-tone watermark is drownded out by the denom.
As it stands, I like the first one better, except the white bottom slice is distracting. Looks like you dipped the chip in white paint, then stamped the denom on it. Other than that, it looks great!
