Need help designing a chip!

I am horrible doing designing and that for chips and whatnot, so I am asking for help with designing labels for my chips. I have the Faux Clay chips which I absolutely love and want to put stickers on them. I have already put some sample stickers on some to see if they work and it works perfectly. Anyways I have the following colors, white, black, gray, blue and purple. I want a black inlay and this is what Jason(CinOs3) came up with.

I wanted to have the text match up with the chip color, but jason wasnt sure if it would be to hard to read against the black background, the aces are okay, but I might want something different. Any ideas or suggestions or mockups would be greatly appreciated. I am sure people will ask what my interests are to incorparate into the chip, but I cant think of anything that would look good on a poker chip, I want to keep it classy looking, and maybe use a simple image similar to a casino in vegas, but any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Also, these chips will be for a T10,000 tourney with the following denoms, blue-25, purple-100, grey-500, white-1000, and black-5000.

Well I guess the horse is already out of the barn on this one, but if your chip colors were any more similar they'd be the same. Don't those get easily confused in a decent sized pot?

That's probably why he has the denoms printed on them. The Black and Grey look very similar though. Maybe they're more discernible in person.

They are very distinct in person, there is no way you can get any of them mixed up, if I put my chips up to the monitor they are much lighter than shown on screen. Trust me when I say distinction is no problem with these chips in person.

Not to throw a curve here or anything but.....switch the black, grey and purple denoms. No on second thought just the black and purple!

I just have a thing for black chips being $100, you might find yourself there one day as well!

As for the design.....its simple, I don't know how the black background is going to look all of your chips, but ......I dunno really.

I would maybe start by looking at color choices--maybe a white background?? Then you could change the lettering to match the chip color! Also you might want to consider having the AA's behind the denom. Make the denom much bigger and overlap the cards!

Just some thoughts!!
