Chips: 9,087 | | | vinyl chip I was working on an advertisement for a club called Vinyl when it hit me! A chip that looks like a record! For the younger folks out there who might not know what that is.... They used to record music on these big CD type things with groves on them. It looked kind like this
I tried to overlay it onto a NJ chip base but because of the texture you just couldn’t see the detail. I decided you couldn’t really put this on a chip without making it look more like a cartoon image but I had fun making it anyway. http://img166.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ordchip5kk.jpg

Chips: 9,392 | | | my wife suggested that to me just yesterday as an idea for no-edge spot clays. I think it could look great.

Chips: 11,925 | | | That'd be an interesting mold. You could actually record a song into the grooves on the chip. Crazy!

Chips: 2,938 | | I thought about the ASM (or any blank chip really) because then the "record label" would really be a label.
You could even drill a hole in the middle of each one too, for authenticity.
I could actually see that being an AWESOME promo piece for a record store, a band or a record promoter...
Maybe the Hard Rock Cafe? |

Chips: 29,466 | | I think I have a couple of old vinyl records that aren't black.... one is red, the other yellow. Might even be a white one in there somewhere...
Anyhow, you might want to make these on clay if you want to drill that hole in the center. Then you could use some 1/4" stainless steel rods for chip racks.
Imagine how high you could stack these babies --- you just need a long steel rod.

LOL, just give each player one of these instead of chip racks:
And hope that the first player out doesn't get angry too easily. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
