I am going to be ordering custom chips from PC.Com very soon. The only problem I'm having is finding artwork as cool as the chips I see posted on this site. Where Did you guys find all this cool artwork?????

When I hunted mine down, I had to get releases from the artists... unless it was from public domain clipart.

I use vector images and some bmp files for most of my work on the inlay, the rest I've done from scratch pretty much - the chip and what not... Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for graphic design these days. The problem for most people is recent versions have been in the $500+ range and now the current version Cs2 is around $900 I think. If you are interested I could give you some help but I can't guarantee quickness because I am already very busy trying to keep up with my chip project on top of being in the military, kids, wife etc.. etc... You can see my chips at this thread: http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/viewto...?p=19389#19389

The first step is to think of a theme that you like. To me, this is the hardest part. Once you have a theme, do some searchs at www.clipart.com or even google. This will be a good start. From there, use Photoshop, Illustrator, or CorelDraw for your artwork. If you can't produce any graphic artwork at all, there are several people here that can help.
